Venue: Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre, 504 Victoria Road, Ryde

Cost: Pool entry is $7.10 (mention underwater hockey)

Comments: Indoor pool, 2m deep, fast surface, everybody welcome, gear available to borrow. Burgers and drinks afterwards across the street!

Venue: Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre, 17 Zetland Avenue, Zetland

Cost: Pool entry is $6.20

Comments: Heated outdoor pool, 2m deep, fast surface, everybody welcome, gear available to borrow.

Membership

Sydney club membership is based on participation.

Here is a breakdown of fees per location:

Ryde aquatic centre:

  • Adults $10
  • Concession $5

You do need to pay the entry fees at the venue. Please let them know you are playing underwater hockey to pay the group entry rate.

Please note: For the club’s insurance, all players must also be financial with Australian Underwater Federation (AUF). Your AUF Membership can be paid and maintained on the AUF Website. Membership costs $95 for Seniors and $55 for Juniors per year. Early bird specials are available from May to June each year. Players who are not financial with AUF will not be insured and will be unable to play games with Sydney after the first 4 weeks of club membership.
